You can withdraw your consent to the use of cookies at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply change your selection in the "Privacy Settings".
Your personal data is generally only being transferred to third parties as far as this is necessary for performance of the contract, if we or the third party have legitimate interests in transferring or if you have consented to this. If data is transferred to third parties based on legitimate interests, it will be explained in this privacy notice.
In addition to this, data may be transferred to third parties as far as we are obligated to do so under statutory provisions or an enforceable decision made by an authority or a court.
Service Providers
We reserve the right to deploy service providers in order to collect or process data. Service providers are only given personal data that is necessary for their specific task. This means that your email address may be forwarded to a service provider so you can receive a newsletter that you signed up for. Service providers may also be assigned to provide server space. Service providers are generally involved as so-called processors which may only process users' personal data based on our instructions.
We store your data as long as required to provide our online offer and the services connected with it or as long as we have a legitimate interest in continued storage. In all other cases, we delete your personal data with the exception of data that we are required to retain for the purpose of contractual or statutory (e.g., taxation or commercial law) retention periods (e.g., invoices). At this point, contractual retention periods may also result from contracts with third parties (e.g., those holding copyrights or IP rights).
Data that is only retained because it is subject to a retention period is restricted from processing until the period expires and will then be deleted.
Data Transfer to Non-EEA Countries
We also transfer personal data to third parties or processors who are located outside EEA countries. In such cases we ensure prior to the transfer that the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards by having agreed upon so-called standard data protection clauses of the European Union with the recipient or sufficient user consent is given.
You may receive an overview of third country recipients and a copy of the appropriate or suitable safeguards in place. Please use the details provided in the Contact section.
Every time you use the internet, your internet browser automatically transmits certain information which is then saved by us in log files.
We save log files for the purposes of determining disruptions and for security reasons (e.g., to elucidate attack attempts) for a period of 7 to 10 days and delete them thereafter. Log files which need to remain stored for evidence purposes are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally resolved and may be forwarded to investigating authorities on a case-by-case basis.
Log files contain especially following information:

Name of the service provider through which access to the online offer occurs;
Name of accessed file or information;
Date and time and duration of access;
Amount of data transmitted;
Operating system and informations on the internet browser used, including add-ons installed (e.g., for the Flash Player); http status code (e.g. “request successful” or “file not found”).
This Online Service uses cookies and comparable technologies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "cookies").
Cookies are small text files that are sent when a website is visited and stored in the user's browser. If the corresponding website is called up again, the user's browser sends the contents of the cookies back and thus enables the user to be recognised. Certain cookies are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies), others are stored in the user's browser for a predetermined time or permanently and then delete themselves automatically (so-called temporary or permanent cookies).
In principle, no data that makes you identifiable as a person (e.g. no names, e-mail addresses or IP addresses) is stored in cookies. Instead, cookies typically contain a code (so-called identifier) as well as information on the storage period and, if applicable, certain technical features (e.g. security functions). However, cookies can be used to create usage profiles.
With the exception of essential cookies (cookies that are absolutely necessary for technical reasons), we only use cookies with your consent. You can grant this consent via our Consent Management Platform ("CMP") and subsequently withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by configuring your privacy settings. You can reach these settings here:
Furthermore, you can delete already stored cookies in your browser at any time. Please note, however, that this Online Service may not function or only function to a limited extent without cookies.
Essential cookies
These cookies and other information are strictly necessary for the functioning of our services. They ensure the secure and proper functioning of our services. Therefore, they cannot be deactivated.
Functional cookies
We want to deliver the best possible service to you. Therefore, we constantly improve our services and your user experience. For this reason, we want to analyse the usage of our services and process it statistically.
Marketing cookies
To further personalise our services, we deliver personalised recommendations, adverts [and interaction options with social networks]. We and our advertising partners use cookies.
This allows us and our partners to deliver personalised advertising to users of our services based on analysed user behavior across websites and devices. Data collected by cookies can be combined with data collected on websites of our partners.
Some of our partners reside outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
If you do not agree to cookie usage or disable them afterwards, adverts will be shown that might be less relevant to you.
We require statistical information about the use of our Online Service in order to make it more user-friendly, to measure reach and to conduct market research.
For this purpose we use analysis tools. The usage profiles created by the tools using functional cookies and by evaluating the log files are not combined with personal data. The tools either do not use IP addresses of users at all or shorten them immediately after collection.
As a rule, the providers of the tools process data only as processors in accordance with our instructions and not for their own purposes.
You can prevent the creation of usage profiles for analysis purposes by not granting consent to the use of functional cookies in our Consent Management Platform ("CMP") or by withdrawing such consent. You will also find further information on the providers of the tools used in the CMP. You can reach the CMP here:
We give you the possibility to subscribe to a newsletter. You can withdraw your respective consent at any time. To do so, please use the unsubscribe link located at the end of each newsletter or contact us via the information provided in the Contact section.
In the case where we have received your email address in connection with the sale of a good or service and you did not object, we reserve the right to send you marketing information on similar goods or services from our portfolio via e-mail on a regular basis. You may object at any time without any costs to you; please use the unsubscribe link located at the end of each newsletter or contact us via the information provided in the Contact section.
You have the right to receive information as well as – under certain prerequisites – the rights to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection to personal data processing and – from May 25, 2018, on – the right to data portability.
Additionally, you may at all times object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes ("advertisement objection"). Please take into account that, due to logistical reasons, there might be an overlap between your objection and the usage of your data within the scope of a campaign which is already running.
In case you consented to the processing of your data, you can always revoke this consent at any time. The lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal remains unaffected.
To enforce your rights, please use the details provided in the Contact section. When doing so, please ensure that it is possible to clearly and unambiguously identify you.
You have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority. You can appeal to the data protection authority, which is competent for your place of residence or your state or to the data protection authority which is competent for us. This is: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA).
Should you have any questions regarding this privacy policy or generally regarding the processing of your data within the context of this Online Service, please contact our data protection officer: mysevenone[at]sevenonemedia.de.
