The video-on-demand portal, maxdome, is a joint venture between ProSiebenSat.1 Group and United Internet AG and enables feature films, series, comedies, cartoons, dramas, documentaries, music and sport to be downloaded directly via DSL to a PC or to a television set with a special set-top box. With more than 15,000 videos and around 200,000 active users, maxdome is the largest online video store in Europe.

maxdome is the best video entertainment for downloads, and is always flexible and easy to use. maxdome brings the cinema theatre experience into the home via DSL, either directly onto the computer or via a special set-top box to the television set. maxdome can thus be used as an open platform with all internet broadband networks (DSL) and is not bound to a specific provider.
There are basically two ways of ordering offerings from maxdome: Either the user selects a video that is ordered individually (Pay per View) and that can then be accessed for 24 hours, or the user takes out a subscription for 12 months for individual program packages. maxdome offerings can be used for 24 hours from just EUR 0.49. Blockbusters and top feature films – and basically all the other offers as well - are available for a single download and cost between EUR 1.99 and EUR 3.99, depending on how new the films are.

With maxdome you have the option of not only booking a classical commercial spot, but also of realising individual ideas - from sponsoring through to your own "Branded Channel“ - in which you can offer your content to users with the usual maxdome quality.
