In January ‘Die besten Filme aller Zeiten’ show exciting, romantic, funny and unforgettable movie classics for the whole family. A special highlight is the adventurous movie about King Arthur and his knights ‘First Knight’:
The story of the ‘First Knight’ from 1955 is about the love of the chivalrous daredevil Lancelot and the inapproachable Queen Guinevere. Jerry Zucker, the producer of the filmed novel, is setting his focus on the romantic side issues of the Arthur-legend. In the opinion of the Frankfurter press, Jerry Zucker created a magnificent, emotional adventure-fairytale. ‘First Knight’ is a movie full of excitement and big emotions in the style of classical knight-movies. The part of Lancelot is played by Richard Gere on the side of Sean Connery as King Arthur.
