 Michael Krautwald becomes managing director sales of SevenOne Media

Marketer intensifies its dedication to future topics

Michael Krautwald, 38, managing director and partner of the holding of the Serviceplan Group and the media agency Mediaplus, becomes managing director sales of SevenOne Media, the marketer of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, on October 1st, 2004. Krautwald will report to Peter Christmann, chairman of the executive board SevenOne Media and executive board member sales & marketing of the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. The management board of the largest German TV-marketer is thus complete: Peter Christmann [chairman], Michael Krautwald [sales] Andrea Malgara [marketing & research] and Thomas Wagner [support]. 

The management area sales includes all sales activities: 4 regional sales offices [Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg], Customer Development [new business], Sales International and Sales Management & Services [traffic department and short term marketing]. As before, Ulf Hochwald, senior sales director, will be responsible for these sales activities, reporting to Michael Krautwald in the future. 

After studying business economics in Munich, Krautwald started his professional career in 1993 as sales manager at Serviceplan, where he was appointed budget director already in 1994. In 1995 he changed to the Serviceplan- daughter Mediaplus as unit director, becoming managing director and associate in 1998. In 2002 he was promoted to managing director of the holding of the Serviceplan Group. During his time at Mediaplus Krautwald founded a series of special agencies working under the roof of the Plan.Net Group.
