New online ad form April, 2004
SevenOne Interactive introduces a new dynamic online ad form in Germany. The PowerCurtain enlarges the spectrum of online ad forms and enables tailor-made solutions which go far beyond classical online advertising media. When downloading a site the PowerCurtain opens automatically taking a large part of the screen for some seconds. The content moves downwards until the advertising medium takes the size of a XXL banner. By moving on the ad form again, the format opens to its full size till it closes again after some seconds. Through size, change in size and movement of the content the new advertising medium creates a particularly high awareness. Its smart design supports the play instinct and curiosity of the user and increases the involvement. Like a curtain, the PowerCurtain opens the view to the world of the client and offers sufficient place for the central message of a campaign. The high awareness ad form can be booked as of now on all websites commercialized by SevenOne Interactive. Movie distributors Buena Vista International and Buena Vista Home-Entertainment are the first clients to use this dynamic ad form on ProSieben.de drawing the attention in a double feature to the cinema start of the movie Kill Bill Vol. 2 and at the same time to the DVD release of the first part of the cinema success of cult director Quentin Tarantino [Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs]. Main actors are Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu and Michael Madsen. The campaign starts on April 19th.
